This 1970 Chevrolet El Camino SS 396 has been driver restored. Purchased in Northern California. It has a non-matching 396 Big Block V-8 engine that has just been completely rebuilt including new bearings, rings, cam, lifters, valve job with new keepers and retainers (see receipt below). Engine has less than 200 miles on it. Fresh Clutch, Pressure Plate, and Throw Out Bearing. Date Code for the Block is 5-16-66 and for the Heads, 1-20-67. All suspension components rebuilt or replaced. Over $30k has been invested in this car's restoration included $2,800 in Vintage Air Conditioning that operates from the Original Controls. It has a Cowl Induction Hood (non-operational), M-21 4-Speed Transmission with Hurst Shifter, Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, Electric Choke, Bucket Seats & Factory Console.
